Red Hat One 2026, a short recap
Red Hat’s 2026 kick-off in Las Vegas highlighted digital sovereignty and private AI as global priorities. Open-source communities remain pivotal, enabling agile, transparent solutions to regulatory and infrastructure challenges. Key takeaways: Digital sovereignty is now a global demand, with Red Hat leading through execution, not just rhetoric. Private AI factories (e.g., OpenShift AI) are scaling AI from pilots to production, integrating models, security, and hybrid cloud. Partnerships like Red Hat + NVIDIA address infrastructure bottlenecks, while acquisitions (e.g., Chatterbox Labs) bolster AI security. Metadata-driven AI ensures compliance and context, proving that reliable AI requires open-source foundations.2026 marks the year of sovereign AI in production, powered by enterprise open source.

Standing on the shoulders of giants
It was an honor to be at Red Hat One in Las Vegas. An event that truly reflects the way IT should be, in our view. This is what we at Tech Tribes have believed in for the past 10 years, and we are committed to continuing this journey for the next 10. Back then, it was Kubernetes. Today, it is AI. And tomorrow? If anything, it will still be open source. Meeting the Red Hat community in real life was a pleasure. The people make the difference. The purpose is clear, the ambitions are massive.
